Shortlist: Implementation of Employment, Education and Social Policies Sectoral Operational Programme

NTU International has been shortlisted for the project: “Technical Assistance (TA) for Institutional Capacity Building for the Implementation of Employment, Education and Social Policies Sectoral Operational Programme (EESP SOP) under IPA-II – Third Phase”, financed by the EU in Türkiye.

The main objective of this project is to further improve the capacity of The Directorate of European Union and Financial Assistance (DEUFA) at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye (MoLSS) as well as potential & actual beneficiaries (Ministry of Health; Social partners feat. trade unions, confederations & commodity exchanges, NGOs, chambers of trade & industry, SMEs, professional associations; Educational institutions, incl. universities; Other relevant actors such as EU institutions etc.) so as to support them in carrying out their functions in relation with the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) & future EU Structural Funds (SF) implementations.

Under the action it is envisaged to make DEUFA a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in EU funds management along with a research & policy analysis Centre in the area of social policy & employment.
