NTU’s Technical Assistance project in Malawi is making significant progress

3rd of December, 2021

NTU has been implementing the programme since 2018

The Technical Assistance to the Rural Roads Improvement Programme (RRIMP) project in Malawi, which NTU has been successfully implementing since 2018, has entered its final quarter and managed to establish a significant progress despite the challenging restrictions generated by the on-going pandemic.

We are proud to confirm that most of the project activities have been achieved. The focus for the last months of this Technical Assistance will be to fully implement the Prioritization of Road Maintenance System (PRoMS) in all 12 project’s pilot Districts and ensure the transmission of knowledge on its operationalization.

The technical assistance team is working intensively, and the next weeks will be fully occupied with workshops and training sessions which will be delivered both in Lilongwe, as well as in the districts.
