NTU has signed another EIB contract

Consultancy Services for the Transport Sector

NTU has just signed another EIB contract for Monitoring and Advisory for the Road Sector in Hungary. Road sector consultancy tasks are among our absolute core-competences, and we currently have a lot of work within this sector. For NTU’s managing director, Lars Bentzen, the continuous cooperation with EIB is a ratification of NTU’s work:

“We are very honored that EIB has chosen us once again, and we consider this to be a direct outcome of our thorough implementation of every project. By now, clients have understood that they can trust our services.”

Project appraisal tasks

This new EIB contract runs for 3 years, and the project tasks, which are included under this framework agreement, will consist mainly of project appraisal tasks. For this, NTU is expected to:

  • Provide assistance in the early screening of investments, and advice on the technical, environmental and procurement risks of projects
  • Review and comment on available project documentation and identify any gaps in the information available
  • Rationale of the proposed interventions both in terms of cost-effectiveness, the solution being proposed and the technology involved
  • Detailed project investment and O&M cost analysis, including assessing the eligibility of costs
  • Assessment of implementation and operational risks
  • Assessment of the status of and calendar of the procurement plan and compliance with the relevant EU legislation on procurement and/or Bank’s Guide to Procurement and liaise with the Mobility Procurement Advisor and the Bank’s Procurement Office
