Kick-Off Meeting for Rural Connectivity Improvement project in Bangladesh

The online kick-off meeting was held on the 24th of February

On the 24th February 2021 the kick-off meeting for the TA-9632 BAN: Rural Connectivity Improvement Project - Consulting Services (47243-004) took place. Further to the involved NTU team, participants in the meeting included representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) of Bangladesh.

Apart from kick-starting the assignment during the meeting the updated workplan proposed by NTU and e.Gen was discussed. This included not only the updated timeline of project deliverables, but as well determining the possibility of NTU’s international experts to travel to Dhaka in light of the ongoing flight restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Other topics covered were the establishment of office infrastructure for the NTU team at LGED HQ, in addition to a detailed outline of the communication with ADB HQ for the purpose of the delivery of the contract.
