NTU is performing surveys in 8 to 10 centres in order to analyse (i) willingness and capacity of the households to contribute to the sanitation services, (ii) position of the municipalities towards the project and (iii) proportion of the owners already contributing to PPE and the willingness of others to join; establishing recommendations to put in place the communication strategy of ONEP as to the treatment of liquid wastes in the centres within the area covered by the project; organising negotiation workshops with the purpose of developing strategic partnership between ONEP and the municipalities engaged in the project.
