NTU wins EuropeAid project Evaluation of Regional Economic Integration Programmes

NTU will carry out an independent evaluation of the three programmes 9 ACP ROC 16, ROC 10 and ROC 9 for the ECOWAS and WAEMU Commissions and supported by the EU Delegation to Nigeria and to Burkina Faso. The expected results of the evaluation include the following aspects: • One mid-term evaluation report for programme ROC16 which critically analyse and assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, means and costs involved, sustainability and impact achieved in the implementation of the programme. The report will have to present separate sections for the two components ECOWAS and WAEMU and for the evaluation of interaction/synergy between the two components; • One final evaluation report for programme ROC 10 which critically analyse and assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, means and costs involved, sustainability and impact achieved in the implementation of the programme. The report will have to present separate sections for the two components ECOWAS and WAEMU and for the evaluation of interaction/synergy between the two components; • One final evaluation report for programme ROC 9 which critically analyse and assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, means and costs involved, sustainability and impact achieved in the implementation of the programme; • Where and if applicable recommendations for the possible measures to strengthen delivery of the component of the programmes which possibly lagged behind and recommendations for the improvement of the programme implementation and management, and assessment of what can be achieved during the remaining time frame of the programme. The conclusions should cover all aspects of the specific objective. Each conclusion should lead to a corresponding recommendation.
