NTU wins EU funded project Cross Cutting Issues within the Integrated Development of Millange Mocuba Corridor Phase II

The overall objective is to provide the Government of Mozambique and the EU Delegation with sufficient analysis and information and to formulate deliverables to address cross cutting issues in regard to the ongoing project formulation. This needs to be done in view of the future project and to be answerable to all GoM and EU requirements in this regard. Specifically, NTU will design and propose a Monitoring & Evaluation Framework including a timeline for measurements, in line with the PIF's preliminary logical framework The purpose of the M&E Framework is to clearly show the effect of the project on poverty reduction, social development, employment creation, economic growth, agricultural activity and trade/regional integration, in addition to the usual outcome indicators related to the construction activity (travel time, road condition, etc.). NTU will choose indicators and targets of existing data bases as far as possible and accessible. In this regard NTU will meet and liaise with stakeholders like the Mozambique Police, ANE weigh bridge staff, Road Fund border posts offices, transport operators, Ministry of Agriculture and local agricultural producers alike.
