NTU has been short-listed for the "Strengthening the Capacity of the Central Financing and Contracting Unit (CFCU) for Efficient Implementation of EU Funds" in Albania, EUROPEAID/134046/C/SER/AL
The purpose of this contract is as to provide operational support to the CFCU administration to enable it to effectively implement the EU financed programmes and to ensure a high rate of absorption of EU funds. Specifically, the following results are expected to be achieved: · Increased CFCU capacities to manage effectively the procurement and contracting procedures according to PRAG requirements · Fully functional financial management system in place and increased CFCU staff capacities on financial management · Established and functional proper system for monitoring, control and reporting · Application package for conferral of management for policy area 'territorial cooperation' as soon as the new IPA 2 regulatory framework will be defined´.
