The objective of the assignment is for a Consultant to assist in managing and administering the Business Advocacy Fund in support of a wide range of service providers to MSMEs and make available technical assistance and capacity development activities through the fund. The Consultant will assist in producing the overall outputs of BSPS subcomponent. In concrete terms the following outputs of the assignment are to be produced: · Grant management: Grant procedures in place and adequate number and qualities of grants implemented. · Management of the Business Advocacy Fund: All financial and administrative procedures in place and complied with. · Secretary and secretariat for the BAF Board: The support to the governing bodies provided. · Technical assistance to grantees: Sub-component goals achieved. · Media training programme for MSME journalists and media activities integrated in grants: Sub-component goals achieved. · Monitoring and evaluation: A monitoring system is in place and full coverage data is acquired.
