Location- All countries of the ENPI South zone The global objective of the RTAP is the setting up of an integrated, efficient, safe and secure transport system in the Mediterranean region, recognised as a key factor for the development and stability of the region and the increase of intra-regional trade. The project’s aim is to accompany and support the implementation of the Regional Transport Action Plan (RTAP) for the Mediterranean (2007-2013) officially adopted at the 8th EuroMed Transport Forum of May 29-30 2007. NTU will be specifically in charge of performing the implementation of the RTAP for the Eastern Mediterranean, as the CETMO will be in charge of the Western Mediterranean side, to implement those elements of the RTAP which are overarching for the whole of the Mediterranean and to assume the overall technical and administrative aspects of the Project Secretariat.
