NTU leads a consortium short-listed for a Danida financed project in Niger

NTU leads a consortium short-listed for the Danida financed project "Technical advisory services to the Chamber of commerce of Private Sector Representatives in Niger (CCIAN/ME) and the National network of the Chambers of Agriculture in Niger (RECA)" with more than 6.000 working days planned Under PECEA (the Programme for the Promotion of Employment and Economic Growth in Agriculture), it’s foreseen the provision of technical assistance particularly concerning Component 1. The structures implementing the Component will be strengthened for achieving the objectives of PECEA. The mandate of the Technical Assistance in supporting the implementation of Component 1 "Support to value chains" is developing the competencies of the human resources within the Chamber of Enterprises and RECA/ CRA Zinder / CRA Diffa in Niger. The main role of the TA is to facilitate the capacity building of the ME and RECA / CRA Zinder / CRA Diffa staff. Dans le cadre du PECEA, il est prévu une assistance technique (AT) notamment au niveau de la composante 1 fournie par un bureau d’étude. Les structures de mise en oeuvre de la composante seront renforcées pour mener à bien les objectifs du PECEA Le mandat de l’Assistance Technique en appui à la mise en oeuvre de la composante 1 « Appui aux chaînes de valeur » est de développer les compétences du personnel de la Maison de l’Entreprise et du RECA / CRA Zinder / CRA DIFFA au Niger. L'assistance technique aura pour rôle essentiel la facilitation du développement des compétences du personnel de la ME et du RECA / CRA Zinder / CRA DIFFA en renforcement de compétences en termes de : i) secteur privé Agricole/ chaînes de valeur, ii) fonds à coût partagé, iii) pôle de compétitivité, iv) projet intégrateur et partenariat privé – privé (entre entreprises / organisations paysannes dans une même chaine de valeur), v) dialogue secteur public et secteur privé, vi) marketing / formation et vii) planification, supervision, suivi évaluation et d'intégration des aspects genre et thèmes prioritaires et transversaux
