NTU awarded a DG Environment and EASME Contract to provide services of 'Assistance and TS for the evaluation and revision of the proposals submitted under the annual calls for action grants under LIFE'
LIFE is the EU's Programme for the Environment and Climate Action, for the period from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2020. From 2014 until 2020, the call Contracting Authority intends to launch one call for LIFE action grants per year. The total budget for project action grants for the first call is 283,12 MEUR (for the sub-programme for Environment and the sub-programme for Climate Action) and 9 MEUR for operating grants (NGO annual work programmes). The overall objective of the service request is to provide the following services to the Contracting Authority: 1. Assistance and technical support for the evaluation and revision of the proposals submitted under the 2014 call for action grants under LIFE. The call has been published in June 2014, as mentioned above. 2. Assistance and technical support for the evaluation and revision of proposals submitted under the 2014 call for proposals for the award of annual operating grants for European Environmental/Climate NGOs. The call has been published on the 3rd of September, as mentioned above. These calls will result in a selection of beneficiaries of annual operating grants. Estimative proposals to be evaluated under the contract: A. 1000 LIFE action grant proposals for the sub-programme Environment B. 175 LIFE action grant proposals for the sub-programme Climate Action C. 50 LIFE NGO operating grants Duration of the contract – up to 72 months
