NTU will assist the decision-makers in the Government and the European Commission with the preliminary actions in the process of formulation and execution of the Freetown Development Plan.
NTU will investigate the existence and quality of the available past and present legal and technical documentation related to the urban planning and management of the city of Freetown and compile them in a logical manner for ease of reference; will make a preliminary assessment of the city of Freetown in terms of good governance, urban management, social and economic development and existing infrastructures and urban services; will examine options for the contents and propose an indicative structure of the document of the FDP.
