The beginning of the week was marked by the successful inception of the 1.7 mil EUR project funded by the European Union to Support Civil Aviation in Zambia.
On the 16th of January 2012 in Lusaka, representatives of the Civil Aviation Authority of Zambia, the EU Delegation and management of NTU gathered to publicly announce the start of the project, which will strengthen the institutional capacity of the Civil Aviation regulator in Zambia and will help ensure a safe and secure aviation environment.
On the 17th of January 2012, 50 stakeholders, both from public and private sector, met in Lusaka for the Stakeholders Meeting to mark the commencement of the 3-years Technical Assistance project funded by the EU.
